Lea was born in Wichmannshausen and currently lives in Eschwege.

She is a trainee primary school teacher. During the course of her studies Lea attended a seminar focussing on the stolperstein project and did research on a few families who emanated from her hometown of Wichmannshausen.

In her own words Lea has said “I have always had a strong interest in history, particularly in understanding the events that have shaped our society. I believe that projects like Stolpersteine play a vital role in preserving the memory of the past. It is essential to educate not only children but also adults about these historical events, so that we can learn from them and ensure that such atrocities are never repeated.”
