Victor Heilbrunn was born on 17 March 1897 in the small town of Sontra, in the Werra-Meißner district of Hesse, Germany. He was the eighth child of Meier Heilbrunn and Caecilia Cohn, joining a large family that already included his siblings Hugo, Meta, Leopold, Minna, Emil, Jettchen (Henny), Gustav, and Grete.

Victor entered the world during a time when infant mortality was tragically common, even in close-knit and caring families. Though his life was brief, his arrival would have been marked by hope and affection, adding another presence to a household already shaped by strong family bonds and shared responsibility.

Sadly, Victor died on 29 November 1897, also in Sontra, at just over eight months of age. The cause of his death is unknown.
